About Me

I trained for 4 years at Wealden College, have a Diploma in Psychotherapy and have been in practice for 14 years. The clients in my practice cover a broad age range – from 8 to the elderly – and are from a mix of social and ethnic backgrounds, genders and sexual orientation.

My approach to therapy is integrative, in that my choice of intervention with each client will depend on my attunement to their individual needs at that time.  I make use of Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt theory, and CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy).

My experience with clients is very broad, including such issues as:-

  • stress
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • bereavement
  • PTSD
  • phobias
  • low self esteem
  • relationship issues
  • anger management
  • eating disorders
  • sexual abuse
  • childhood issues
  • fragile sense of self.

I am a registered member of the BACP and I adhere to their Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
